Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

You don’t need to know right away. Our first session is a space to explore that, no pressure. What matters is whether you feel safe, heard, and like there’s room to be you.

What kind of issues can I bring?

Anything that feels too much or not enough. Whether it’s trauma, anxiety, grief, identity, or something unnamed, we’ll meet it together, at your pace.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. I work both face-to-face and online. If you're not nearby or feel safer at home, we can meet in a way that suits you.

What kind of therapy do you offer?

I’m trained in person-centred therapy and ACT. That means I won’t tell you who to be, I’ll help you reconnect with who you already are.

What happens in the first session?

We start gently. You can share as much or as little as feels right. It’s a space for you to get a feel for how I work, and for us to see if it feels like a good fit.

What if I don’t know what I need?

That’s okay. You don’t need to arrive with a plan. We can explore together what’s feeling stuck, heavy, or unclear, and move from there.

Do you work with people who’ve experienced trauma?

Yes. Many of the people I work with carry trauma in some form, past events, relationships, and family patterns. I work slowly, gently, and at your pace. You won’t be rushed or pushed.

What’s your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Late cancellations or missed sessions are usually charged the full fee, unless there’s an emergency (ambulance, firefighters, police, or 999). We can talk about what’s fair if something unexpected happens.

Do you offer therapy in other languages?

Yes, I also offer therapy in Hungarian. If that feels more natural for you, just let me know.

Do I have to commit to long-term therapy?

Not at all. Some people come for a few sessions; others stay longer. We’ll go at your pace, and you’re free to stop or pause whenever you need.
